Elise’s Golden Plant Milk

Easy

Elise’s Golden Plant Milk

This healthy and delicious recipe is my personal version(s) of the original (Ayurvedic) Haldi Doodh recipe of India, my go-to and a gotta have in my home. It’s a creamy treat that can be whipped up in minutes and served day or night. This recipe also has optional versions because I personally like options (I am a converse one day and flip flop the next kinda girl) but, also due to testing various combos to achieve my family approved status, which worked out super in the end as it can be tailored to personal preferences, allergens etc. If nothing else, experimenting is plain good fun!

Elise’s Pan de Campo de Anise

Intermediate

Elise’s Pan de Campo de Anise

Pan de Campo and Pan de Anise. Pan de Campo is actually now the official state bread of Texas and is a Tejano skillet bread with ingredients like a
flour tortilla. Pan de Anise is more of a pan dulce or sweet bread that comes in an assortment of shapes and sizes (maker dependent) with ingredients similar to cinnamon rolls minus the cinnamon. So, what you get is a kind of supped up sweet bread tortilla with the great taste of
Anise!

Elise's Magical Apple Bread Pudding

Easy to Moderate Fuss

Elise's Magical Apple Bread Pudding

Here is a healthy dessert alternative that provides a little sweet, a little harvest, and a hint of magic!
It involves mild fuss (I only laughingly say because it calls for peeling apples and I personally feel that the peeling of just about anything can at minimum be considered a fuss!)

Elise’s Herbal Eggnot!

Easy

Elise’s Herbal Eggnot!

(An enchanting dairy free, egg free, gluten free alternative to Eggnog!)
This recipe is a delicious plant-based alternative to the original that’s not only healthier but totally free of any over boiling or curdling fuss!
The use of rolled oats gives it a unique texture and experience for the palate. It includes only a handful of simple ingredients and whips up rather quickly using a high-power blender. Involves no boiling. Chill time is optional.

Elise's (Meatless) Pumpkin Chili

Relatively Simple

Elise's (Meatless) Pumpkin Chili

Elise's (Meatless) Pumpkin Chili is warm plant-based, full of flavor and is a most enchanted blend of textures and spices with just a touch of heat and of course rounded out beautifully with pumpkin!

Elise's (Meatless) Pumpkin Chili can be made all stove top or (like this version) stove top prepped then crockpot lulled until ready! Either way it's still relatively simple so no worries on any chef status!

The ingredients should be easy to find in your local market or most likely already on hand. Some ingredients can also be subbed with ready made versions (which are noted in the recipe) if there is any wish or need to cut extra work and time.

And it has a (no soy) meatless chickpea-chorizo base!

Elise’s Holiday Hibiscus (Flor de Jamaica) Sauce

Easy

Elise’s Holiday Hibiscus (Flor de Jamaica) Sauce

My wildflower alternative to traditional holiday jellied-cranberry sauce! A tangy, sweet hibiscus infusion with floral notes of lavender and a citrus hint of lime! Jellied by chia seed instead of pectin or gelatin! Sweetened with agave!

Elise’s Simple (Meatless) Crockpot Pozole Verde

Simple!

Elise’s Simple (Meatless) Crockpot Pozole Verde

A simple to make treasure that not only provides comforting warmth,
from both temp and green chili heat, but is also infused with fiber, vitamins and minerals and can possibly help with inflammation. Ingredients that nourish the body and enhance the spirit!

Elise's Spicy Pina-Thyme Tea

Easy

Elise's Spicy Pina-Thyme Tea

Thyme is making it into a wonderful aromatic tea. It’s super easy to make and a perfect balance for this time of year, to help possibly soothe sore throats, coughs and snifflies, even assist in a good night’s rest if drank in the eve.
