Ingredients
¾ cup coconut sugarÂ
1 teaspoon ground cinnamonÂ
½ cup plant butter, meltedÂ
1 ½ cups peeled and chopped apples of your choice (red apples will give more of a floral sweetness and green will give a bit of citrus like zest)Â
1/3 vanilla bean pod or ½ tsp vanilla extractÂ
1 ½ cups oat milkÂ
2 cups oat bread (cubed)Â
Preparation
Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees. Grease, Butter or Non-Stick Spray Prep: a 6-7 Inch Baking Dish. Â
Sprinkle bread cubes across the bottom of the baking dish. Set Aside.Â
In a large bowl, mix together sugar, cinnamon and butter. Toss in apples and coat well. Gently blend in vanilla and milk.
Pour entire mixture into the baking dish over the bread cubes and bake covered for 30 minutes or until apples are soft to preference. Â
Optional magic throw ins are a pinch of cloves, walnuts or raisins.Â
Serve warm. Enjoy!Â
