For those unfamiliar, Samhain (a gaelic word pronounced sah-win) is the Celtic Pagan considered mid point to winter solstice. A time of celebrating the conclusion of summer and harvest and a time to welcome the new half (the dark half) of the year. It is also believed to be the moment the door between the living world and the spiritual is at its thinnest, offering the opportunity to honor one's ancestors, as well as a joyous yet eerie occasion filled with folklore, magic, mystery, mischief and sheer fun!

Here are a few common herbs believed to have special powers that make the magical roster!
